No-Sugar Peanut Butter Cups
How to use Moon Magic's Planet Milk bar to make chocolatey, no-sugar, calorie-conscious peanut butter cups. Warning: you might not want to share.
Ingredients
- 6–8 Moon Magic Planet Milk chocolate bars
- 1/3 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
- 2 tbsp no-cal Walden Farms maple syrup (or other no/low-sugar versions)
- Fresh strawberries (or raspberries)
- Brown rice crisps cereal (or Rice Krispies)
- Chopped nuts for garnish
Directions
- Break up the bars and gently melt in the microwave for about 40 seconds until soft — stir to fully melt smooth. Keep the temperature low to keep the chocolate in temper.
- Line a cupcake tin with liners. Add about 1/4 inch of chocolate to each one. Rush to cool in the freezer.
- Meanwhile, mix the nut butter and maple syrup together.
- Once the bottoms are somewhat firm, add a heaping tsp of the nut butter mix to each cup.
- Add a slice of strawberry or a tsp of raspberry halves.
- Add a tsp of rice cereal for a crunchy textural element.
- Use the remaining chocolate to fully cover the centres of each.
- Top with garnish.
- Cool for about 1 hour until fully firm in the refrigerator.
