Humans, Have a Question About Our Chocolate?
Don’t worry earthlings, when us Astronauts first tasted this chocolate we had questions too! Here’s what the MooMas have told us about the wonders of Moon Magic:
What kind of sorcery is this? Where did all the sugar and calories go?
An excellent question indeed, human. Regular milk chocolate is typically high in sugar & fat, which in terms means high in calories. Moon Magic chocolate replaces sugar with a low-calorie natural sweetener called Allulose and uses a blend of EPG, cacao butter, oat milk, and almond milk to achieve its silky smoothness and delicious chocolate taste.
Wait, what is allulose?
Allulose is a sugar unique to things like figs and maple syrup. Tasting just like regular sugar, it magically has almost no glycemic impact and close to zero calories. Quite fascinating, isn’t it?
So, where does the fat content come from?
The fat comes from a blend of EPG, cacao butter, and almond milk. This is how we ensure the silky, melt-in-the-mouth texture!
And what is EPG?
EPG is made from GMO-free and modified plant-based fat (made from rapeseed, the most common plant used in vegetable oil making). It has just 0.7 calories/gram versus 9 calories/gram for regular fat. Is your mind blown yet?
What is the Moon Magic "Delight Guarantee"?
Us Astronauts and Moomas are so confident that you’ll love our chocolate that if you’re not fully delighted by Moon Magic chocolate, your first product order will be refunded. Please refer to our return and exchange policy for full terms and conditions.
Is Moon Magic keto-friendly?
Affirmative! Moon Magic chocolate has just 4g of net carbs of which there are 2g of sugar total—coming from pure oat and almond milks.
What do you mean by 'Net Carbs'?
Allow us to explain: Different carbohydrates affect the body’s digestive systems in different ways. Fiber and low/no-calorie sweeteners such as Allulose don’t affect your blood sugar like regular sugar does. So they are subtracted from the total carbohydrate count. In other words, net carbs are total carbs excluding fiber and Allulose.
What is 'Net Fat'?
While ‘net fat’ may not be an official term, the Moomas are coining it, simply because it’s the easiest way to explain how EPG fat grams work. Similar to net carbs, net fat is only the fat that can be metabolized by your body and has a calorie impact. Only 10% of EPG can be metabolized and so is excluded from net fat.
Okay, tell me... What does Moon Magic Chocolate taste like?
Out of this world! During the production process—up there on the other side of the moon at the Moon Magic Chocolate Factory—the MooMas were inspired by the classic deliciousness of high-quality milk chocolate. The velvety sweetness, silky mouthfeel, and melt-in-the-mouth pleasure were all essential. The final product those little Moomas created hits all of that, with almost none of the calories/sugar!
Can kids enjoy Moon Magic chocolate bars, too?
Absolutely, we wouldn’t want kiddos to miss out! And, much better to avoid filling them with high levels of refined sugar, right?
Is this Chocolate Kosher?
Indeed, it is!
What is the shelf life?
The shelf life is 18 months, but let’s be honest…we know you won’t be able to wait that long!
